Concrete Repairs
at
Cedar Bluff Subdivision

The City of Huntsville is accepting proposals or bids for concrete repairs at Cedar Bluff Subdivision.  The following repairs are needed:

  • Sidewalks in approximately 9 sections totaling 1,090 linear ft x 5 ft wide x 4″ thick.  Must include 1/2″ rebar (2 runs w/cross members every 6 ft) and base material.
  • Drain Covers – (4) 4ft x 6 ft x 4″ reinforced
  • Curb & Gutter – 50 ft and 10 ft (linear)

The City of Huntsville, Arkansas, by unanimous decision at a regular council meeting held on November 13, 2023, will be offering for sale 23.57 Acres located at the end of Amanda Street formally known as “Huntsville Industrial Park”.  STATE PLAT CODE 500-17N-26W-0-35-400-44-1610. 

The City of Huntsville purchased the fore mentioned land on March 27, 2019, for $150,362.23. Third party appraisal was performed on property on October 5, 2023.  Total current appraised value is $424,600.  Formal survey and appraisal can be viewed, or copies obtained from Huntsville City Hall, located at 208 E. War Eagle Street, Huntsville, Arkansas, 72740.

The City of Huntsville requests a submission of “Intent to buy” with a narrative or description of the planned use of the land.  The city furthermore requests that the offer price be included as well as a letter from a financial institution confirming potential buyer has the ability to purchase.

In accordance with Article 12 Section 5 of the Arkansas Constitution, and ACA 14-54-302, The City of Huntsville reserves the right to accept or deny any proposal and reserves the right, to accept offers that are consistent or within reason to the appraised value of land.

The City of Huntsville is accepting SEALED bids for three (3) independent projects at College Street Park.

Please see the RFP attachments for each project.  Bidders may submit bids for any or all of the projects.

Airport T-Hangar Construction

Sealed bids will be accepted on any or all of the following:

Concrete Work:

  • Concrete pad for hangar (building dimensions 228′ x 42′); may require some dirt work.
  • 18:x24: footing with 2 #4 rebar continuous
  • 3x3x2′ piers at each column
  • 4″ slab with 6×6 wire mesh
  • 4′ wide sidewalks around perimeter of building

Concrete or Asphalt Taxiways and Aprons:

  • 844′ x 25′ taxiways total
  • (6) – 30’W x 34’L apron/driveways
  • If concrete – 4″ concrete with rebar on 2′ grid.
  • If asphalt – 3″ thickness

Hangar Building:

  • 6 unit T-Hangar steel building approx. 42′ x 229′
  • R-13 insulation min.
  • 26 gauge wall and roof panels
  • (6) – 47′ bi-fold, cable lift doors with auto-latch and remote
  • 29 gauge full height partitions

Hangar Building Erection:

  • bid for erection of hangar building

Electrical:

  • wiring of the new hangar with appropriate lighting.  Must be licensed electrician with insurance.
