NOTICE OF REAL PROPERTY FOR SALE
The City of Huntsville, Arkansas, by unanimous decision at a regular council meeting held on November 13, 2023, will be offering for sale 23.57 Acres located at the end of Amanda Street formally known as “Huntsville Industrial Park.” STATE PLAT CODE 500-17N-26W-0-35-400-44-1610.
The City of Huntsville purchased the fore mentioned land on March 27, 2019, for $150,362.23. Third party appraisal was performed on property on October 5, 2023. Total current appraised value is $424,600. Formal survey and appraisal can be viewed, or copies obtained from Huntsville City Hall, located at 208 E. War Eagle Street, Huntsville, Arkansas, 72740.
The City of Huntsville requests a submission of “Intent to buy” with a narrative or description of the planned use of the land. The city furthermore requests that the offer price be included as well as a letter from a financial institution confirming potential buyer has the ability to purchase.
In accordance with Article 12 Section 5 of the Arkansas Constitution, and ACA 14-54-302, The City of Huntsville reserves the right to accept or deny any proposal and reserves the right, to accept offers that are consistent or within reason to the appraised value of land.
Formal offers can be sent to City Clerk’s Office, PO Box 549, Huntsville, Arkansas 72740 or submitted directly to City Hall. Bids will be reviewed at April 8 City Council meeting.
The City of Huntsville and Madison County are launching a new alert system. Residents of the entire county can receive notifications for:

- community events.
Residents may choose to receive all notifications or any of the above four categories. You may also choose how you would like to receive the notifications by any of the following:
